Ranch Oyster Crackers

This cool, fall-like weather has me thinking about soup and chili and fall food! These crackers are delicious by the handful, but also really good in a bowl of soup!

Original recipe here.

I increased the crackers and reduced the oil just a bit to make it a little less unhealthy (marginally, I know, but hey – every little bit counts). How I do it:

1 (1 oz) packet Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
1/2 tsp dried dill weed
1/4 cup vegetable oil (I use a little less)
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
6-7 cups oyster crackers (a 12 oz pkg has 5 cups in it, so look for a larger bag or pick up two bags!)

Preheat oven to 250.

In a large bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients, and then add the crackers, tossing to coat. Spread evenly on a baking sheet.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring gently after 10 minutes. Remove from oven, cool, and serve!

I used to make a version of this w/o baking them, but I have managed to loose the recipe. I just tried it your way, & it’s very yummy!
