Easy Weeknight Dinner: Spaghetti Casserole

Here’s a quick and easy recipe that generally goes over well with everyone…yes, it has processed cheese in it. So sue me.

Spaghetti Casserole
1 lb. extra-lean ground beef
garlic and onion salts
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can tomato soup
1 cup water
1 cup of cubed Velveeta cheese – don’t substitute anything else for this! Trust me!
6 oz. cooked spaghetti noodles (to ease my conscience a bit about the lack of nutritiousness in this meal, I use Barilla plus noodles).

Brown beef, seasoned with salts, and drain. Add the rest of the ingredients. Pour into a 2-quart casserole dish and bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until hot; stir. OR, you can heat some or all of it in the microwave until hot and cheese is melted.

This gets a thumbs-up from all of the boys!

This recipe sounds so good. Always on the look out for recipes that don’t have many ingredients, this is definitely on the MUST TRY list!
